2nd AFC Soccer Camp Date Set!

July 28th to August 1st
~ evenings ~

AFC held it's first program wide camp in 2013 and look to bring it back this Summer with some new features.  Over 100 players participated in last years camp, where players trained with their teams over the week - receiving a different coach each night.  Sessions will be run by licensed AFC coaches as well as local guest & high school coaches.  Tiki Ice will return to provide after training treats! This will be an evening camp available only to AFC players - with more details coming.

Kayla Klock - AFC United (girls U17)
~ AFC Player Profile ~

Kayla Klock

Kayla, a Junior,  finished the season with #10 ranked Bel Air Bobcats scoring 13 goals with 5 assists. Kayla was selected 1st Team All UCBAC this season as well and possibly All County.

This season, Kayla scored two goals against county rival C. Milton Wright in a 3-1 win to help Bel Air move on to the Regional finals.  She followed up that game by earning the assist in the last five minutes of the Regional Final game to help beat Westminster 1-0 and advance to the state 3A semifinal game where they lost to Huntingtown 1-0.

Kayla maintains a 4.0 GPA while playing soccer and running track with Bel Air H.S. and playing soccer with her AFC team year round. Currently she is preparing for her fall College Showcase tournaments with AFC pursuing her dream of playing soccer in college. Kayla credits her six years with AFC for preparing her to play a higher level of soccer and have fun in the process.

Way to go Kayla!  You have made AFC and Bel Air High School proud!  Keep it up!
