d 2005 Barca Win Maryland Sports Arena d

The AFC Barca won their second session at Maryland Sports Arena be defeating a very talented BRAUSA team in the finals. Congrats to head coach Jeff Wagner and the boys.

 

d Avalanche & Panthers attend USWNT Game d



The AFC Avalanche and Panthers attended the Wednesday night Women's National Team game vs Germany and cheered on the U.S. to a 1-0 win. The girls got a chance to see stars like Carli Lloyd, Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath and Mallory Pugh play and help to defeat a tough German team. It was a great night of soccer!

d U14 Fury & U16 Bulldogs Train Together
d

On Wednesday, Feb. 1st the U14 Fury and U16 Bulldogs met on the turf field at Cedar Lane and had a super training session together. Bulldog coaches Wes Rich and Mike Karwatka led the practice and the turnout was great with 21 boys coming out. The weather was warm and the boys had fun training with one another and plan on doing this again soon.


d AFC Bulldogs win Fallston Cup d



The 2001 U16 AFC Bulldogs went undefeated for the tournament weekend and captured the Fallston Cup Gold Division. The boys finished first in a tough bracket to make it to the finals where the defeated the other first place team 4-0. Way to go guys!!

 

d New 2005 Blizzard Finish 3rd in CMSA d



The newly formed 2005 U12 AFC Blizzard finished their first outdoor season and went 5-2-1 - good enough to finish 3rd out of 10 teams. The girls look to continue this success into the winter indoor season!

 

d 2004 Panthers Win 2 Fall Leagues d



The 2004 U13 AFC Panthers won both their Fall CMSA league as well as their BBSL league. The girls went 7-0-1 in their Saturday league as well as 7-0-1 on Sunday. Congrats Panthers!!


2 AFC Barca Players Make ODP Team



The Maryland State Youth Soccer Association held Olympic Development Program tryouts for the 2005 Boys on Saturday October 22 and Sunday October 23.  It was reported that there were 400 boys from all over the state of Maryland competing for 100 spots.  We are proud to announce that invitations were extended to 2 AFC Barça players, Christopher Bell and Ian Wagner, to be a part of the 2017 Maryland ODP team.  Way to go boys!!!

 

asdf   Barca SAC Columbus Day Tourny Champions  asdf

AFC Barça U12 Boys participated in the 2016 SAC Columbus Day Tournament on the weekend of Oct 8 - 9.  The boys played in adverse continues on Saturday and came away with 2 shut outs to usher them into the semi-final games.  On Sunday, the boys played SAC United Gold in the Playoff Semi-Finals and won the match 2-1.  Barça went on to play in the Championship game against Premier SC White.  The game was a very well match game, exciting soccer to watch.  At the end of regulation time the score was 2 - 2 which required a penalty shoot out.  Both teams wanted the win but after 9 penalty shots, AFC Barça came out victorious and secured the title of "Champion".

 

asdf   Panthers Win OBGC Capital Cup  asdf



The U13 (2004) Panthers won the OBGC Capital Cup over Labor Day weekend. They went 4-0 on the weekend and played some great soccer. Way to go girls!
