d AFC to Offer Speed & Conditioning Training d

AFC is introducing Speed and Conditioning training for it's players this August and September 2016. AFC is proud to be partnering with Bill Ackerman, director of sports performance & wellness at Spartan Sports and Wellness. We will continue to improve our club by offering additional training options for our players to assist in their development as soccer players.

-------------------

New AFC President Wes Rich says one of the main goals of AFC moving forward is to prepare it's players to compete at the high school level. "All of our new winter & spring training programs will involve many local high school coaches on both the boys and girls side. Our main goal will be to prepare our players to play at the next level and compete for their high school team." Wes Rich, a coach himself, has 18 years coaching experience at the high school level, including time at Mason City High School (Ia) & Bel Air High School and is currently at Patterson Mill High School.

d New Girls High School Team Forming d
Former college soccer players & current high school coaches Brad Crossley and Mike Parker are forming a new High School team that will play and train year round. Interested players can get more details and information on their team website. AFC SELECT
