Calling all 6-8 year-old Boys!!

AFC is looking for any U7 or U8 boys interested in a FREE 4 week training program and learning about travel soccer & AFC.  All 4 training sessions will be held at Emmorton Elementary School gymnasium and run from 3:00 to 4:00 (on the dates listed below).  We hope this will lead to creating a Fall U8 and U9 boys AFC travel soccer squad.

Our Session Focus:
The focus of these sessions will be lots of touches on the ball in a fun, low stress environment. A key theme for this age is to encourage players not to fear the ball.  Each player will have plenty of opportunities to experience the ball at his own pace.  We plan to include games where there are multiple goals and balls for the players to work with, as well as activities incorporating directional and speed changes.  Players will have instruction and practice using the proper techniques for striking and handling the ball.
